We've been aware that the replacement blades to the R44 Astro will not be compatible using a helicopter without the need of hydraulic assisted controls, but we disagree the R44 Astro will probably be further than cost-effective repair as quite a few R44 Astros are already refitted with hydraulics, and conversions come about general
